What began as a small gathering to showcase local DJs and artists has grown into a celebration of everything Detroit stands for: creativity, connection, and community. The Detroit Party shines a spotlight on the talent that makes this city extraordinary.
We have featured sets from Detroit’s underground legends like Tony Nova, Mike “Agent X” Clark, DJ GONZILLA, and Drums of Detroit, every year’s lineup celebrates the city’s world-renowned music culture.

We take over the backyard of The Old Miami on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Doors open at 2:00 PM and we go late into 2:00 AM. This is a Memorial Day Weekend tradition—come early to secure your spot on the grass.
Yes. The Old Miami has both indoor and outdoor spaces. If the weather turns, we move the party inside or under the tents. The music does not stop.
It wouldn’t be a backyard party without a BBQ. We will have the grill fired up in the afternoon. Drinks are available at the Old Miami bar (Cash and Card accepted, but Cash is always faster).
Don’t expect a standard festival lineup. Expect a true session. We strictly play Deep House, Classic Techno, Funk, and Electro, complemented by live elements like Michigan acoustic guitar from Bob Skon and live percussion from Dr. Tingle Fingers.
